1) Register a domain name

www.Namesecure.com

www.GoDaddy.com
Fairly cheap, costs you around US$8 a year.
2) Brainstorming for a domain name

Get some idea and then you can brain to a shorter name. Select a domain name that conveys a benefit like ''GetSuccessNow.com'' or ''MasterfulPoetry.com''. Always use ''.com''.

3) Purchase a Web hosting account

Web hosting is another essential business tool. You need this to store your files so that other people can access your website online. I don't recommend that you get hosting from domain registrars, as they tend to be very expensive.
4) Link your Domain Name to your Web Host
This should be quite straightforward
5) Change the domain name server
There should be ''option'' to Modify Nameservers (DNS).
Please note - when you sign up for your web hosting account, they will tell you what their name servers are. If they don't tell you, you have to contact the support desk and ask for the name servers.
6) Modify Domain Name Servers

Click on ''Use other name servers'', add the DNS of your hosting provider. You should have two domain name servers.
5) You are done.
If there isn't already an automated process to do so, just email your web host provider to add your domain name, you should be ready to add pages to your web server.
6) FTP Software
You should be ready to add pages to your web server now ! In order to do this, you need to have an FTP software to upload information from your computer to the server hooked up on the internet.

WS_FTP by IPswitch

FileZilla (www.filezilla.sourceforge.net)
Congratulations! Everything is done! You are ready to start up and build your website now!
