The biggest mistake in many new marketers is they get so fascinated by how other people achieve their results, they forgot that by being entranced by other people's result, it may not fit their own style or needs.

Beginning Internet Marketers end up getting stuck with ideas about how to make money. They either don't know how to start, or they are starting to copying some other person's model to start, or they are starting out copying some other person's model for revenue generation.

I suggest you to do is not just copy strategies, but innovate new ones on your own. After you start off in Internet Marketing, you will find that some of the tried and tested methods in the past may not work anymore, as I found. The most important thing to do is to find new ways to adapt to the current local situation. You need to test, observe and then build your own strategy through creativity and innovation.

#1 - Not Investing Enough Time to Think

There are basic principles of business building. Being Lazy is a silly attitude that has always driven people to failure. I've never seen someone who is lazy and still succeeds in business.

#2 - Thinking That Internet Marketing is Another Get Rich Fad
Every business venture has a different set of strategies. If you are just rushing into internet marketing just because it is the biggest thing, then you might leave this page now. To be able to ensure your success on the internet, you have two things to pay attention to - time and probability. Putting the concepts into practice and getting results does.

#3 - Learning from Multiple Sources
There are several reasons why I recommend learning from many sources. There are people who are highly knowledgeable who can provide you effective information because of their experience in the internet marketing arena.

#4 - Being Lazy Too Early

You cannot afford to be lazy. It will cost you. I know some people who only work 16 hours a week as internet marketers and still make a decent living. The fact is that you can't do that immediately. It takes an investment of several hours of hard work. You need to be obsessed with success that it would take a crowbar and a grizzly bear to yank you away from your computer. Some of the top internet marketers whom I admire literally work 12-16 hour days. No wonder they accelerate their monetary growth so quickly and rapidly!

#5 - Not Planning Time Well Enough - Time Management

You can be superior in your marketing skills, but if you are poor in your time management, you will suffer from burnout. Personally, I feel you should go back to the basics in time management in order to gain the best out of internet marketing. I would recommend you do one thing at a time(if you are a serial processor and if you are multi-tasker, you can go ahead and do whatever you like, just make sure that when you experience confusion, you just need to remember clear out your mind a while before you return back to the screen!
